My personal journey to create EmpowerED Minds is driven by a deep aspiration to make a profound difference in the lives of children and families. With over 25 years of experience in PK–12 education, I've seen firsthand the critical need for integrated support that addresses the whole child. This passion fuels my commitment to nurturing well-being, academic growth, and essential life skills.
What makes us unique
At EmpowerED Minds, I stand apart through our unique blend of expertise and my whole-child approach. I integrate mental health, academic support, behavior, and life skills, all grounded in 25+ years of expertise rooted in child psychology. My clinical and educational blend combines counseling, coaching, and child development for practical, real-life results. I'm trauma-informed and evidence-based, utilizing CBT, DBT, crisis response, and proven intervention strategies. I also prioritize family-centered partnerships and future-focused development, building confidence and independence across all ages from infancy through adolescence.
Families we empower
I'm most passionate about supporting families facing challenges in mental health, academic performance, behavior, and overall child development. My core services include mental health and resiliency building, academic and executive function coaching, behavioral and social-emotional support, child development and family guidance, and future planning and life skills. I find the biggest impact when I empower children and adolescents (infancy–age 18) to build confidence, achieve academic success, and develop essential life skills for long-term well-being.
